Robert is a personal trainer with over 14 years of experience. In 2012 he founded he founded #bobsgarage, a functional fitness personal training a small group training Jim in the heart of Edinburgh from here he moved to one of London‘s premium gyms and provided one-to-one coaching to predominantly corporate clients.

About

Robert has experience working with a wide variety of clients, ranging
from beginners and individuals recovering from severe illnesses to
athletes competing at a professional level.

Having become a father in 2024 he knows first-hand that a busy lifestyle requires a smarter approach to training and he has been been helping others since then find that balance.

My Training Background

Having starter out his training journey with a military focus back at university focused on fat loss then once that was complete a focus on endurance and stamina it gave him an experience of military training and inspired him to begin his fitness journey. He started out his fitness journey with British Military Fitness and then CrossFit. He spent a lot of time learning from experienced ex military coaches and strength and conditioning coaches. He has traveled to Salt Lake City for courses at GymJones and has also spent time developing his Olympic Lifting in the past with his British weightlifting certification.

Robert has experience dealing with beginners, from pre and post natal mums to heavily
overweight clients to dealing with adapting and working around complex injuries and issues.
